As an Industrial Architect, you translate complex designs into production-ready solutions and shape industrial plans across bids, projects, and products. You’ll connect business and engineering teams to deliver manufacturable, cost-efficient outcomes aligned with the company’s industrial strategy. The role offers cross-functional collaboration, development of the Manufacturing Engineering function, and a chance to influence high-stakes decisions. Responsibilities
- Input to reviews during Bid & Project lifecycle to define/approve industrial solutions
- Create Industrialisation Plans for projects/products linked to Integration, Validation, Verification and Qualification Plans
- Define estimates for Projects/Products and associated Capex
- Contribute to design and deployment of the Industrial Strategy within the business
- Mentor and develop the team; support Manufacturing Engineering development
Key requirements
- Proven specialist in Industrialisation/NPI principles
- Ability to influence peer networks and mobilise cross-domain support
- Confident presenting to cross-functional groups
- HNC in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics
- UK Eyes Only security clearance requirement; willing to obtain/maintain SC clearance
