Overview

In this role, you drive growth by cultivating executive-level alliances with Global System Integrators in the UK, shaping joint go-to-market programs, and generating measurable pipeline. You will work closely with Enterprise Sales, Pre-Sales, and marketing to position Veeam as a trusted partner within GSI ecosystems. The role centers on accelerating revenue through strategic partnerships and joint initiatives. You’ll operate at executive levels to influence portfolio decisions and unlock scalable, multi-credit opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deepen strategic GSI relationships with a select portfolio (e.g., Capgemini, Kyndryl, DXC, Accenture, TCS)
  • Identify, qualify, and advance joint opportunities with GSI/SI teams and Veeam sales and pre-sales
  • Drive enablement sessions, marketing collaboration, and executive engagement to raise Veeam awareness within GSIs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with EMEA marketing, sales, pre-sales, inside sales, and global GSI teams on joint initiatives
  • Leverage GSI/SI ecosystems (resellers, CSPs, tech alliances like HPE, Lenovo, Microsoft) to maximize sales
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and progress updates in Salesforce

Key requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in business development within an IT/software vendor or GSI/partner environment
  • Proven track record in building strategic partnerships, creating pipeline, and closing complex deals
  • Deep understanding of GSI and SI business models, structures, and executive networks
  • Strong commercial acumen, resilience, and ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution
