Overview
In this role you will act as a hands-on content security advisor and engineer for pre-release media across Amazon’s Global Media and Entertainment. You will design secure production workflows, assess and secure content processing architectures, and lead security tooling and automation to scale operations. You’ll tackle emerging threats including generative AI risks, while collaborating with studios and production teams to protect valuable content. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role that blends security strategy with technical execution to safeguard content throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary content security advisor to film and series production teams, guiding secure workflow design (editorial environments, file transfer, cloud storage, on-set networking, remote tools)
- Assess internal and external content processing architectures to securely deploy and maintain content networks and equipment
- Manage security assessments of 3rd party services and tools, coordinating production requests and vendor security
- Research, evaluate, and pilot next-generation security measures (forensic watermarking, audio/video fingerprinting, content tracking)
- Contribute to strategy for securing pre-release content against generative AI threats and translate risks into actionable controls
- Maintain and enhance AWS infrastructure and applications supporting Content Security, building internal security tooling to automate workflows (access governance, audit reporting, compliance)
- Write lightweight automation (Python/scripting) to support security tooling, audits, and reporting
- Develop and iterate security SOPs tailored to each studio and production team
- Provide regular written updates on program status, risk posture, and incident findings
Key requirements
- Experience (non-internship) in scripting, programming, and security code reviewing in a common programming language
- Experience (non-internship) in troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating complex tasks using command line tools
- Experience identifying security issues and risks, and developing mitigation plans
- Experience in industry-based security vulnerabilities identification, attack patterns, and remediation techniques
