Overview

In this VP role, you will lead long-term, fundamental research across the Technology & Media sector to generate differentiated investment ideas and alpha for client funds. You will collaborate closely with a senior analyst and Portfolio Manager partners within a global research network, balancing rigorous analysis with autonomous coverage. Your insights empower large-scale investment decisions and fund positioning, under a robust risk framework. The role blends deep research with clear communication and a willingness to take calculated risk, within a collaborative JPMorganChase culture.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a senior Technology & Media analyst to deliver high-quality, timely insights and progressively cover your own names
• Produce differentiated, long-term fundamental research that informs actionable ideas
• Translate research into positions within our analyst fund and influence client assets
• Generate alpha through rigorous analysis, forecasting, and disciplined risk-taking
• Communicate insights clearly and promptly with investment partners
• Support and strengthen the collaborative internal culture of JPMorganChase

Key requirements

• Five+ years’ experience supporting or covering stocks on sell-side or buy-side
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to persuade succinctly
• Willingness to take risk; passion for investing
• Knowledge of Technology & Media sector is a plus but not essential
• Team player who contributes to positive internal culture
