Senior Highway Engineer

As a Senior Highway Engineer, you will lead the delivery of complex highway and public realm schemes across London and the UK. Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of highways/public realm projects from concept to implementation
• Produce and review detailed highway designs compliant with DMRB, TfL Streetscape Guidance, LTN 1/20, LCDS, TSRGD and related standards
• Prepare and review AutoCAD design packages and technical drawings
• Manage utility diversions from inquiry to coordinated implementation
• Produce and review technical reports for clients, authorities and stakeholders
• Apply CDM 2015 requirements throughout design
• Build and maintain strong client and multidisciplinary team relationships
• Mentor junior engineers and develop team technical capability
• Lead project delivery to meet programmes, budgets and quality targets
• Support business growth through client relationship management and opportunities hereafter

Key requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Experience delivering highways projects in a consultancy
• Strong knowledge of design standards (DMRB, TfL Streetscape Guidance, LTN 1/20, LCDS, TSRGD)
• Advanced AutoCAD design experience
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D
• Excellent report writing and technical communication
• Strong understanding of CDM 2015 responsibilities
• Experience managing projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
