Service Reliability Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead the IT Services function, setting strategic direction and ensuring risk-aware governance for the bank’s technology services. You collaborate with senior stakeholders to align IT delivery with business objectives, drive improvements in service reliability, and oversee timely delivery of projects and incidents. You will manage a team, optimize department performance, and maintain alignment with change and compliance activities. This is a chance to shape technology operations at scale and support critical banking services.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic direction for IT Services and implement up-to-date methodologies
• Oversee IT Services staff, performance, and departmental objectives
• Manage stakeholder relationships and external third-party services
• Develop and enforce IT Services policies, controls, and adherence to SLAs
• Lead IT Services risk management and mitigation strategies
• Monitor financial performance and optimize costs within IT Services
• Drive IT Services projects, product launches, and integrated client solutions
• Ensure reliability and timely resolution of complex platform issues to minimize disruption

Key requirements

• In-depth technical knowledge in IT Services
• Experience leading and developing teams or advising as an expert
• Strong risk management and controls experience
• Ability to coordinate with risk, compliance, and change teams
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
