Overview

In this role, you will shape vibrant coworking and mixed-use spaces as part of WeWork’s London Design Studio. You will manage projects on tight timelines, perform space planning, and produce Revit-based design packages. You will coordinate with design leadership and stakeholders to ensure executable design intent and QA. You will support presales through architectural test-fits, source materials, and visit sites to ensure quality and alignment with budgets. Responsibilities

  • Manage projects independently with timelines and workload control
  • Space planning, code analysis, and functional programming for each project
  • Produce design packages and Revit handoffs (AoR, GC coordination)
  • Manage Configured Member Projects during presales and support management agreements
  • Collaborate with Design & Creative Director and Senior Design Manager at milestones
  • Ensure design deliverables comply with QA guidelines and standards
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external consultants/suppliers
  • Source new materials, fabrics, and FF&E suppliers
  • Monitor project costs and stay on budget
  • Attend project meetings and site visits

Key requirements

  • 3+ years in design, construction, or operation on high-quality commercial or hospitality projects
  • Proficient in BIM Revit, Enscape, Photoshop, Google suite, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office
  • Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
  • Strong space planning and architectural design acumen
  • Knowledge of construction practices, buildings, and accessibility codes
  • Experience with joinery design and FF&E principles
  • Ability to analyze metrics and incorporate data into design solutions
  • Ability to travel periodically
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design
  • Portfolio submission required
