Corporate Tax Manager – Milton Keynes or Watford

Overview

In this role, you will support the London Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance practice on complex projects, guiding UK and cross-border teams to deliver technically robust tax advice. You’ll build strong client relationships, manage engagement quality and risk, and mentor junior staff while potentially engaging in UK corporation tax compliance and reporting. The position blends client service, leadership and technical tax work within a collaborative, inclusive culture. You’ll work with Partners and Directors to drive meaningful tax outcomes for diverse clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Partners, Directors and Senior Managers on complex advisory projects to deliver high-quality advice
• Lead UK and cross-border teams, coordinating with specialists and external advisers and challenging inputs for successful outcomes
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and manage engagement quality and client financials
• Manage and coach junior staff, fostering technical delivery and soft skills
• Role model KPMG values and contribute to an inclusive, respectful team environment
• Potential involvement in UK corporation tax compliance and reporting if interested

Key requirements

• CTA or ACA/CA or equivalent (professional qualification)
