Overview
In this role you advise on IT aspects of M&A within EY-Parthenon, supporting clients through the deal lifecycle. You’ll apply IT skills to diligence, value creation, carve-outs and integrations across sectors. You’ll work with cross‑functional teams to shape transaction strategy and execution. This is a growth role in a globally connected practice that values diverse perspectives. You’ll have a chance to influence outcomes for corporate and private equity clients at scale.

Responsibilities
- Lead or contribute to IT pre-deal, value creation, post-deal, separation and integration engagements for UKI clients
- Assist in business origination activities, including pitches and presentations with EY Parthenon teams
- Join client engagement teams to support decision makers in developing and executing transaction strategies
- Assess IT readiness: organisation, infrastructure, applications, data and service delivery across transaction phases
- Support transaction execution planning to hit milestones and identify risks and improvement areas
- Develop technical and personal skills through structured learning and practical experience
Key requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related subjects
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of IT ecosystem components: Enterprise Architecture, IT Operating Model, IT Strategy, ERP/HRIS, IT Infrastructure, Data, Site Separation
- Project management experience with multi-workstream delivery
- Willingness to travel, on-site in Belfast or Manchester with travel to London
