Overview
In this role you will design and implement digital circuit architectures for high-performance SoCs, collaborating with a cross-functional team in Cirrus Logic’s Edinburgh R&D division. You’ll take concepts to production, shaping block-level IP and contributing to technical reviews. You will mentor junior engineers and influence team growth, working in a dynamic, globally impactful environment that rewards innovation and hands-on problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new digital circuit architectures from concept to production on advanced process nodes
- Collaborate with a team responsible for delivering complex mixed-signal products and IPs
- Contribute to technical reviews and ensure IP quality using checklists
- Influence team growth through supervising junior engineers
Key requirements
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline) with extensive background in digital CMOS design
- RTL implementation of complex digital circuits and subsystems in Verilog/SystemVerilog
- Understanding of digital system-level design, including standard bus protocols and chip-level clock/reset architectures
- Verification of block-level digital designs
- Synthesis and timing analysis of digital circuits
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
