Group Financial Analyst

Overview

In this role you will support group reporting and financial analysis for a FTSE-listed international business. You will partner with senior finance stakeholders to deliver monthly group management accounts, board reporting, and consolidated statements in a complex, acquisitive environment. You will work on technical accounting areas and drive improvements in reporting processes. This is an opportunity to gain exposure to senior leadership and influence strategic finance decisions. You will contribute to external reporting, investor communications, and statutory processes within a collaborative, global finance team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly Group management accounts and board-level reporting
• Analyze BU performance, forecasts and budgets
• Assist in half-year and year-end consolidated financial statements
• Support annual reports, investor communications and external reporting
• Deliver financial analysis for senior leadership and strategic decision-making
• Tackle complex technical accounting areas (cash flow, share-based payments, reserves, pensions)
• Support statutory reporting and liaise with external auditors
• Participate in continuous improvement of reporting processes and systems
• Review capex proposals and strategic planning submissions

Key requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified with 3+ years PQE
• Trained in a Top 10 or Big 4 audit firm
• Strong IFRS and Group Reporting knowledge
• Experience auditing or working with large multinational organisations
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills
• Confident communicating with senior finance leaders and non-finance stakeholders
