Overview
In this role you help identify and secure data center capacity across Europe by evaluating markets, supporting delivery with commercial aircover, and coordinating cross-functional input. You will back senior management with thorough commercial analyses and investment recommendations, while optimizing energy costs and capacity rightsizing. The role sits at the intersection of finance, real estate, and operations, enabling timely, cost-effective data center deployment. You will work with cross-functional teams to balance business demand with strategic investments, shaping the data center portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate market options and secure data center capacities to meet demand
- Provide commercial aircover to delivery teams for timely capacity delivery
- Collaborate with legal, tax, finance, GR to inform senior management on investments
- Support operational-related needs with commercial input
- Perform energy cost analysis and drive budget optimization initiatives
- Lead rightsizing and optimization initiatives as required
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in industrial/commercial land development, power acquisition or real estate investment & financing
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Skilled in contract negotiation
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel domestically and abroad
