Governance & Committee Secretariat Lead

The British Medical Association (BMA) is seeking a Senior Governance Officer to join the Council Secretariat team. This role supports the effective operation of the BMA’s governance committees, ensuring meetings are well planned and decisions are recorded and followed up.

You will work closely with chairs and senior staff to manage agendas, minutes and action logs, develop supporting papers, and coordinate recruitment and onboarding for lay members.
