Tech Risk and Controls Lead – Cloud Foundational Services – Governance

Overview

In this role you drive executive-ready governance content and outcomes for technology risk and controls. You lead end-to-end meeting production, from planning to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You own issue management and remediation progress, translating complex risk inputs into decision-ready narratives for senior leadership. You monitor KRIs/KPIs, provide QA on reporting, and continuously improve governance artifacts and processes. You leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate drafting while upholding data sensitivity and auditability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver executive-ready governance materials (PowerPoint and narratives) that depict technology risk posture and control health.
• Lead end-to-end meeting production: set timelines, solicit inputs, track actions, manage deadlines, and maintain version control.
• Own issue and action-plan management: prioritize, define plans, track progress, and validate remediation outcomes.
• Define, monitor, and report control metrics, KRIs, and KPIs with clear insights and recommended actions for senior management.
• Synthesize inputs into decision-oriented stories, highlighting risks, controls, dependencies, decisions required, and impact.
• Provide high-level QA on metrics commentary, issue trackers, and risk/control updates using professional judgment.
• Maintain recurring reporting artifacts (templates, trackers, minutes) and pursue process improvement and standardization.
• Collaborate across lines of business and functions to strengthen governance routines through influence.
• Leverage enterprise-authorized AI to speed drafting and quality review, while ensuring validation and data security.
• Lead through influence and engage diverse stakeholders to deliver effective oversight across the product line.

Key requirements

• Experience in technology risk, controls, governance, or a related field supporting senior leadership and control governance forums.
• Working knowledge of technology risk concepts and remediation validation.
• Familiarity with cloud risk concepts relevant to a public cloud environment.
• Experience defining, monitoring, and reporting control metrics, KRIs, and KPIs for senior audiences.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills with strong executive storytelling and ability to translate complex tech topics for leadership.
• Strong report creation and presentation skills across organizational levels.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional meetings with diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational and execution capabilities under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and QA skills with metrics, issue tracking, and reporting tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; relationship-building and stakeholder management.
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to support risk, controls, or reporting workflows with validation and data sensitivity awareness.
