Human Resources Business Partner

Overview

In this role you will lead strategic and operational HR activity across Clinical Service Units, shaping workforce plans and change initiatives to support the Trust’s People Strategy. You will collaborate with senior managers to drive workforce modernisation and transformation, ensuring timely employee consultation and policy alignment. You will oversee HR projects, TUPE, redundancies, and staff changes, delivering a patient-centered HR service across the Trust. This is a key business partner role that supports service delivery and organisational development.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and operational HR activity across the assigned area and contribute to trust-wide HR delivery
• Design and implement the strategic and operational HR plan for the area
• Lead development and execution of National, Regional, Place-based and Trust HR change programmes and policies
• Manage HR Operations Team and HR Admin Team to ensure effective delivery and service continuity
• Develop workforce strategies aligned with the Trust People Strategy and annual plans
• Act as HR lead for people-related change projects (structure, roles, redundancies, TUPE, etc.)
• Support forward planning, workforce modernisation, and transformation through cross-functional collaboration

Key requirements

• Experience of HR Business Partnering in a complex organisational environment
• Specialist knowledge of organisational change and transformation
• Experience managing and advising on diverse employee relations cases
• Staff management experience
• Experience working with Trade Unions
• UK professional registration
• Current knowledge of information governance and confidentiality
