Overview
In this role you will drive the definition, development, and execution of robust project plans for Technology and NPI initiatives, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment. You will work across interdisciplinary teams to guide product development through the PCP framework up to Gate 6, delivering value and quality. You will monitor performance, manage risks, and maintain strong governance and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans with budgets, schedules, and resource plans, securing approvals through governance
- Lead NPI and technology projects through all PCP phases up to Gate 6 while meeting scope, time, budget, and quality targets
- Track performance metrics, report progress, proactively manage risks/issues/dependencies, and handle change requests
- Coordinate cross-functional work with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and Product Companies
- Ensure resources and skills match tasks and address planning constraints
- Maintain project governance, communication strategies, stakeholder engagement, change control, and lessons learned
- Define, plan, and deliver all project deliverables in line with PCP requirements
- Oversee product industrialization and transition to volume production with compliance to safety and regulatory standards
Key requirements
- Degree qualified in a Project management/Engineering/Science discipline
- Project management experience in engineering/electronics/product development environment
- Ability to plan and deliver projects to scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives
- Ability to prioritise multiple activities in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Ability to monitor performance and report KPIs to management
- Confident use of Microsoft Project
