Overview

In this role you will lead end-to-end project controls for large and mega infrastructure programmes, ensuring time, cost and performance objectives are met. You will work within a cross-functional team to implement governance and PMO standards, manage risk and change control, and safeguard project finances and quality. Your efforts will support delivering complex projects on time and within budget, while aligning with client objectives and company goals. Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end project controls services for large, complex projects
  • Define and monitor contract success criteria across time, cost, and performance
  • Implement governance, processes and systems across the project lifecycle
  • Lead cross-functional project controls input in a matrix structure
  • Maintain the risk register and evaluate risk components and variations
  • Apply performance management using KPIs to improve project outcomes
  • Manage change control processes as needed
  • Monitor and advise on project finances
  • Ensure effective flow of project information within the team
  • Act as day-to-day interface with the client to meet objectives within time, cost and quality targets
  • Contribute to technical services delivery and PMO project controls service development
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget
  • Ensure project controls align with appointment terms

Key requirements

  • Relevant technical degree and management qualifications
  • Professional experience in project control for construction projects
  • Experience in planning & scheduling, cost management
  • Experience with risk management, change control, information management and reporting on complex projects
  • Working knowledge of Prism and Unifier
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team of specialists
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6
  • Relevant technical degree and management qualifications (duplicate)
  • Professional experience undertaking project control roles for the development and/or delivery of construction projects (duplicate)
  • Experience in risk management, change control information management and reporting (duplicate)
  • Prism and Unifier proficiency (duplicate)
