Overview
In this role you will handle a varied healthcare fitness to practise regulatory caseload in a leading national team in Cardiff. You will support investigations, risk assessments, hearings, and policy input within a public protection framework. The position offers hybrid working, high-quality training, and exposure to complex regulatory work across health and social care regulators. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver robust regulatory outcomes and client care.

Responsibilities
- Assess concerns raised and prepare case plans
- Advise on interim orders and regulatory risk
- Oversee or conduct investigations, including witness interviews and statements
- Prepare investigation reports and draft allegations
- Keep clients updated throughout the process
- Prepare cases for hearings and work with advocates
- Conduct regulatory litigation, including appeals and High Court applications
- Provide regulatory advice and contribute to policy development
- Participate in full induction, training and ongoing support
Key requirements
- Professional regulatory experience in healthcare fitness to practise (essential)
- Previous case management experience
