Overview
In this role you will join a respected Banking & Finance team in Cardiff, handling a range of transactional matters for banks, lenders, and corporate borrowers. You work across cross-functional teams to support leveraged, acquisition, and real estate finance, contributing to client relationships and business development. Responsibilities
- Act for banks, lenders, and public sector clients on banking and finance transactions
- Advise on leveraged and acquisition finance, and real estate finance
- Draft loan agreements and standard security documents
- Manage conditions precedent to drawdown and review CP documentation
- Liaise with clients to oversee transactions from credit sanction to drawdown
- Assist with post-completion requirements
- Support business development initiatives and wider firm activities
- Develop client relationships and contribute to team growth
Key requirements
- England & Wales qualification, NQ-2 PQE
- Experience in banking and finance or willingness to specialise
- Strong sector knowledge and commercial awareness
- Excellent drafting, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage workload efficiently and work collaboratively across teams
