Team Lead, Power Systems Engineering

Overview

As Team Lead – Power Systems at Ramboll, you combine technical delivery with people leadership to grow a high-performing specialist team. You will lead complex power systems projects across electrification, offshore wind, data centres and large energy infrastructure, while staying hands-on as a senior expert or project manager. You’ll foster client relationships, shape project delivery and build capabilities across the international Power Systems network. This role offers the chance to influence the global energy transition within a collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Power Systems specialists, including recruitment, onboarding and day-to-day people leadership
• Contribute to technical and billable project delivery as a senior expert, technical lead or project manager
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, translating technical and commercial needs into opportunities
• Coordinate multidisciplinary projects and workstreams, connecting expertise across Ramboll
• Support development of Power Systems capabilities through knowledge sharing and collaboration across the organisation

Key requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, power systems or related field
• Strong Power Systems experience in consultancy, utilities, energy, or related environments
• Proven track record delivering complex technical projects as senior expert, technical lead or project manager
• Leadership experience with ability to develop and support technical specialists
• Strong client and stakeholder skills with excellent written and spoken English
