Overview

In this role you will contribute to the design of Citi’s digital products, partnering with Product, Engineering, and UX Research to create cohesive experiences. You will move ideas from ideation to high-fidelity design, ensuring accessibility and alignment with the Design System. The work focuses on transforming Citi’s HR apps and systems to be intuitive and efficient. You’ll impact how employees interact with tooling, shaping daily work life. This is a hands-on design role within a collaborative, cross-functional team that values outcomes over process.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with research, stakeholders, product managers and engineering to brainstorm and co-create solutions
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and the Design System
  • Ensure designs follow best practices and are validated by research and testing
  • Challenge status quo to address root causes for better user outcomes
  • Incorporate feedback constructively and deliver clear design assets to engineering
  • Provide ongoing UX support with review checkpoints to ensure implementation matches design
  • Stay updated with latest UX practices, innovations, and tools
  • Ensure ADA/WCAG accessibility compliance
  • Deliver on time and manage risks, escalating as needed
  • Assist and train new UX starters and contribute to the UX community of practice

Key requirements

  • 3+ years of industry UX Design experience
  • Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience on complex, enterprise-scale or consumer design projects
  • Creative flair and strong design eye
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, AdobeXD, InVision
  • Experience with Design Systems
  • Practical experience with AI-enabled design tools and ability to evaluate and integrate outputs
  • Bachelor’s Degree
