Director, Client Consulting

Overview

In this Director role, you will lead the UK&I Visa Consulting and Analytics client team, shaping strategy and delivering high-impact advisory engagements. You’ll manage a consultant group, cultivate a robust analytics pipeline, and collaborate across functions to maximize Visa’s resources for client success. You’ll guide proposals, lead presentations, and drive risk-aware, data-driven recommendations that boost client performance. This role blends leadership, strategy, and storytelling to deliver measurable business impact at scale.

Responsibilities

• Engage with client and consulting leadership to develop and manage an analytics pipeline
• Develop frameworks and recommendations addressing high-impact opportunities
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement projects
• Produce insights and actionable guidance to improve client performance and growth
• Participate in sales processes to qualify opportunities and steer engagements
• Draft proposals and secure new consulting assignments with executives
• Deliver engagements, lead the consulting team, and present to clients
• Manage pricing approvals, routing, and revenue recognition systems
• Lead advisory initiatives and provide strategic direction to the team
• Use data to identify risks and improvement opportunities
• Prepare client-ready presentations with junior/senior resources

Key requirements

• Consulting experience in a consulting firm or in-house strategy within a financial institution
• Comfort presenting to senior client and Visa leaders
• Strong communication via empathy, active listening, PowerPoint, data visualization, and pyramid-principle storytelling
• Highly collaborative with experience working with geographically distributed teams
• Ability to tailor recommendations and leverage Visa/VAS synergies
• Skill in connecting data streams to craft narratives and visuals
• Experience drafting proposals, leading pitches, and collaborating with partners
• Capability to manage multiple projects and self-motivate in a results-driven environment
