Practice Manager – Walton

Overview

In this role you lead the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient care while driving a profitable store. You will balance line management with clinical responsibilities, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance. You’ll develop staff and locums, foster strong cross‑functional links, and work with regional teams to meet targets. The position combines healthcare impact with commercial accountability in a supportive, in‑store environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient experience and patient safety
• Manage the store Pharmacist and Pharmacy Colleagues, including direct reports and locums
• Ensure compliance with GPhC operating standards and clinical governance
• Deliver Pharmacy-related targets and deadlines and support service delivery across NHS and private healthcare
• Balance line management with Pharmacist duties to maintain safe working practices and performance

Key requirements

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC
• Evidence of right to work in the UK
• Relevant safeguarding qualifications
• DBS check and Live Update Service enrollment
