Overview

In this role, you will lead and shape energy transition engagements for power and utilities clients, guiding digital transformation, modernization and decarbonization programs. You’ll work with senior client leaders and cross-functional EY teams to design strategy, operating models and roadmaps, delivering high-impact, data-driven insights. The position offers close collaboration across advisory services and a pathway to leadership in a rapidly evolving energy landscape. You’ll contribute to EY’s mission of building a better working world through transformative projects and thought leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic consulting engagements to drive transformation and digital adoption for utilities
• Develop client visions, objectives, delivery plans, and operating models with senior leaders
• Design and facilitate client workshops and stakeholder meetings to drive alignment
• Deliver energy system planning projects and architecural technical solutions
• Lead program management and governance across energy technology and business solutions
• Identify service delivery improvements to enhance quality and efficiency
• Develop go-to-market materials and proposals for global Power & Utilities clients
• Prepare and deliver status reports and communications for diverse stakeholders
• Oversee data, analytics and modeling work to support business cases and future-proof models
• Contribute to thought leadership and industry events on energy transition topics

Key requirements

• Experience with energy/utility value chain in technical, strategic, or technology roles
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to synthesize complex information
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executive influence
• Project management and stakeholder engagement experience
• Passion for energy sector and utility transformation
• Professional development mindset in evolving energy landscape
• Experience in at least one of: utility strategy, digital transformation, market design, or energy technology delivery
