Overview

In this role you will join a respected Cardiff Employment & HR team to manage a varied caseload for a range of clients, from multinationals to SMEs. You will advise on settlements, draft contracts and policies, and handle tribunal work, while supporting transactions with TUPE and related employment provisions. The role includes training, business development, and contributing to the firm’s growth in a fast-paced but collaborative environment. Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload of Employment Law and HR matters
  • Advise on and draft settlement agreements
  • Draft and review employment contracts, policies and wider documentation
  • Run or assist with employment tribunal claims and pre-litigation negotiations
  • Provide day-to-day HR and Employment Law advice across the full spectrum
  • Support corporate finance and commercial teams on TUPE and employment provisions in transactions
  • Assist with internal investigations for clients
  • Deliver in-person and online training on Employment Law and HR topics
  • Contribute to business development

Key requirements

  • Qualified solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE in Employment Law and HR matters
  • Strong communication and client care skills
  • Highly organised, methodical and detail focused
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively
