In this QA Engineering Lead role, you will shape the quality strategy for the Platform Team while staying hands-on. You’ll drive automation, processes and engineering standards in a SaaS Azure environment within a global FinTech. The role blends technical leadership with practical delivery, guiding two direct reports and promoting quality across the development lifecycle. You’ll work in an AI-heavy setting, applying modern tools to boost test coverage and engineering productivity. This is a chance to influence QA practices at scale and partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, secure platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the QA strategy for the platform
• Lead automation initiatives and improve testing processes and tooling
• Mentor and manage two direct reports and influence across the tech function
• Hands-on test automation using Playwright and Cypress
• Incorporate AI-assisted development approaches to improve coverage and productivity
• Ensure platform robustness, security, and reliability across the lifecycle
