As a CustomerService Team Member (what we call our Customer Delivery Drivers),you’ll be one of the people local customers rely on. From weeklyshops and family dinners to those last-minute essentials, you’llhelp keep homes across the communitymoving.
You’ll take tothe road in one of our delivery vans, follow a pre-planned routeand deliver each order with a smile. Our technology takes care ofthe route planning and your van will be loaded ready for you, soyou can focus on driving safely, providing great service and doingthe jobwell.

Ifyou join us between 12th October 2026 and 2nd November 2026, you’llcomplete your training and initial deliveries from one of our twoalready established sites, either Dordon &Nottingham.
From 9thNovember 2026, all training and deliveries will move to ourbrand-new Stoke-on-Trentsite.
We know that thetemporary change of location may mean additional travel, so OcadoLogistics will cover any extra travel costs during the transitionand we’ll give you an hour at the start and end of your shiftsduring training as travel time. That means you can focus onlearning the role, building your confidence and getting ready foryour move to Stoke without being left out ofpocket.

Whatdo we need fromyou?
Youdon’t need previous delivery experience to join us. Our trainingteam will give you the knowledge, skills and support you need tofeel confident in therole.
This is an active,physical job. Across a week, you could deliver up to a tonne ofshopping, carrying orders from your van to customers’ doors –including flats and properties withstairs.
You’ll spendmuch of your day working independently, so it’s important thatyou’re reliable and take pride in providing a good service. You’llrepresent Ocado Logistics while delivering shopping on behalf ofour retail partners, so strong communication skills and a friendly,helpful approach areessential.
As shifts canstart as early as 5:30am and finish as late as midnight, you’llneed to be able to travel to and from the Stoke site reliably atthese times.
You’ll alsoneed:
- A fullUK or EU drivinglicence
- At leasttwelve months’ drivingexperience
- No morethan six penalty points on yourlicence
- No drivingdisqualifications within the past fiveyears
- To be aged 18 orover, as some deliveries include alcoholproducts

Contracttype:Permanent
Contractedhours: 37.5 hours per week, including paidbreaks
Contracteddays: You’ll work any five days out of seven. Yourworking pattern will be explained in more detail duringpre-boarding.
Shiftlength: 7.5-hour shifts, including paidbreaks
You’ll receiveyour rota up to 13 weeks in advance, helping you plan your timeoutsidework.
Payschedule: This role is paid on a lunar basis, whichmeans you’ll be paid every four weeks. Please take this intoconsideration whenapplying.
