In this role you will own the credit control process for a designated portfolio, driving cash collection in a fast-growing, global company. You will collaborate with finance, sales and operations teams to protect outcomes while maintaining strong customer relationships. The role requires managing multiple priorities with clear communication, precision, and proactive problem solving. You will contribute to projects that improve cash collection and support a high standard of governance. Responsibilities
- Monitor cash collection within the allocated portfolio and work toward monthly targets
- Follow credit control procedures: issue statements, send dunning letters, contact customers per protocol, escalate as needed
- Respond to customer queries in a timely, professional manner
- Allocate customer payments and maintain the debtors spreadsheet
- Maintain effective lines of communication with sales and technical teams globally
- Support the wider finance team on cash collection improvement projects and perform ad-hoc tasks
Key requirements
- Prior credit control experience or translatable customer service experience
- Numeracy and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and ability to escalate issues as needed
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise and work unsupervised
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook
- Prior Workday experience is desirable but not essential
