Overview

In this role you partner with engineering leadership to raise Teya’s engineering talent bar by owning senior and niche hires across multiple locations. You’ll design centralized pipelines, standardize interview processes, and drive data-informed decisions to hire top-tier engineers while maintaining a rapid, high-quality process. Your work directly shapes how we build world-class engineering teams to support our mission of empowering small businesses. Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end hiring for senior and niche engineering roles across London, Porto, and Latvia with a bar-raiser lens
  • Co-design and lead centralized pipelines for core engineering families
  • Run hiring manager intakes to define roles, outcomes, levelling, and interview plans
  • Standardize interview loops and rubrics for fair, comparable assessment across teams
  • Lead debriefs and evidence-based decision-making, advocating for no-hire when signals don’t meet standards
  • Design and run sourcing strategies, including AI-assisted outreach and partnerships with communities
  • Coach hiring managers on structured interviewing and candidate experience
  • Own recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, offers, pass-through, quality-of-hire) and present insights to leadership
  • Drive cross-functional projects to improve how we hire engineers, including AI tooling to speed up without lowering bar

Key requirements

  • Extensive experience in technical recruiting/talent partnering in high-growth tech, fintech, or product-led companies
  • Proven track record in hiring senior engineers across multiple locations
  • Experience designing or overhauling hiring processes with centralized pipelines and rubrics
  • Comfort partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making
  • Creative sourcing capability using AI tools for outreach, automation, and analytics
  • Strong analytical skills with dashboards and data-driven prioritization
  • Builder’s mindset with ability to improve processes and navigate ambiguity
