Responsibilities
- advise on a broad range of pensions matters including risk reduction, buy-ins and buyouts
- manage PPF assessment periods, scheme rescues and insolvencies
- handle LGPS matters across England and Wales
- oversee corporate transactions, mergers, restructurings and wind-ups of schemes
- lead complex pensions litigation including professional negligence and Part 8 claims
- support the operation of a leading independent trustee company
- build strong client relationships and contribute to business development
- collaborate with national team to deliver high-quality, commercial advice
Key requirements
- 6+ years PQE in non-contentious pensions
- experience advising employers, trustees or public bodies
- strong technical knowledge across listed areas
- excellent communication and client handling skills
