Overview

In this role you will join a respected Bristol law firm to handle professional indemnity matters for insurers and professional services clients. You will manage a varied caseload through defence and advisory work, with emphasis on regulatory issues, risk management, and policy coverage. Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of professional indemnity claims, including defence through pre- and post-litigation stages
  • Advise on regulatory issues, risk management, and Ombudsman complaints
  • Handle policy coverage issues for insurers
  • Deliver timely client service aligned with SLAs
  • Contribute to team development, process improvements, and business initiatives
  • Capture and collate management information for clients
  • Support a collaborative, client-focused team culture

Key requirements

  • 0-4 years PQE
  • litigation background essential; insurance experience desirable
  • strong knowledge of legal procedures and litigation processes
  • excellent written and oral communication
  • ability to deliver commercial solutions and build strong client relationships
  • confidence in managing matters independently and efficiently
