Overview

As Contracts Manager, you will oversee two large-scale housing schemes in London for a respected main contractor. You will lead multi-site delivery, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance across residential developments, including RC frames and high-rise elements. You will collaborate with site teams to maximise performance and drive project milestones, while aligning with the company’s community-focused and sustainable building ethos. This permanent role offers a competitive package and a chance to shape two major housing projects from early piling through completion.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee two large housing schemes in London and manage multi-site delivery
  • Lead full-site teams to maximise performance and ensure safety, quality, and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to UK building regulations and industry standards
  • Coordinate piling works and progression of build programmes on assigned sites
  • Collaborate with Senior Project Manager on one site and manage project milestones across both schemes
  • Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships within Housing Association projects

Key requirements

  • Strong track record of managing multiple housing/residential schemes
  • Main contracting / new build residential background
  • Experience with RC frame and high-rise projects
  • Excellent understanding of UK building regulations
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong leadership and people management
  • Effective communication with stakeholders
  • Problem-solving mindset under tight schedules
