Senior Site Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead on-site construction to deliver high-quality homes safely, on schedule, and within budget for a private Cambridgeshire developer. You will oversee site programmes, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring strict health, safety and environmental standards and NHBC compliance. You will develop the site team, coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, and oversee handovers with a focus on excellent finish and value for money.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities to deliver quality homes safely, on time and within budget
• Manage site programmes, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain smooth progress
• Take overall responsibility for health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Maintain quality control to meet NHBC and company standards
• Lead and develop the site team and foster a positive culture
• Liaise with internal departments, local authorities, and inspectors to resolve issues
• Support customer journey with timely handovers and high-quality finish
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep build on track
• Collaborate with commercial teams to manage costs and achieve value for money
