Overview

In this role you will efficiently manage field operations, supervise subcontractors, and ensure materials align with the Site Manager’s plan. You will assist with planning and programming site activities, and deputise for the Site Manager when needed while maintaining quality standards. You will coordinate with subcontractors, sales, and authorities to ensure safety, inspections, and customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on role that helps deliver defect-free homes on time.

Responsibilities

  • Organisation and control of labour and subcontractors
  • Completion of weekly planning sheets to meet the build programme
  • Direct contractors and manage quality to meet standards
  • Coordinate with Site Manager to ensure material availability
  • Ensure site safety and compliance with regulations and company procedures
  • Inspect operations for safe execution and adherence to method statements/risk assessments
  • Liaise with Sales Executive regarding customer options and variations
  • Plan and arrange inspections with NHBC and Local Authority
  • Assist in Home Quality Inspection (HQI) and ensure defect-free completion
  • Support Customer Relations with post-completion visits and snagging
  • Ensure waste disposal is in line with policy and manage site cleanliness
  • Ensure drawings and company specifications are followed
  • Support street scene and site presentation according to Franchise rules

Key requirements

  • Trade background
  • NVQ Level 4 in Residential Construction Site Supervision
  • Knowledge of NHBC and Building Regulations
  • First aid qualified
  • CSCS card holder at Manager/Supervisor level
