Overview
In this role you will support the Site/Project Manager to plan, coordinate and oversee timber frame housing projects from start to finish. You will help manage budgets, schedules, resources and teams, ensuring on-time delivery, quality and compliance. You will liaise with partners, customers, contractors and stakeholders, handling risks and issues while maintaining safety on site. This is a hands-on, collaborative role on a greenfield Leicester development, offering focus on timber frame build processes and safe execution with potential career progression within Vistry.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Site/Project Manager in planning, coordinating and overseeing construction
- Support budgeting, scheduling, resource and team management to meet targets
- Liaise with partners, customers, contractors and stakeholders
- Manage risks, issues and compliance across the project
- Coordinate with utility companies, trades and suppliers for timely materials
- Attend and support weekly site meetings; promote communication, standards and safety
- Maintain site presentation, documentation and inductions for personnel
- Monitor health and safety practices, incident reporting and environmental policies
- Oversee quality control, inspections, snagging and materials quality
- Support corrective actions and risk management in collaboration with the site manager
Key requirements
- Experience on new build projects
- Experience in health and safety management on site
- Knowledge of timber frame build process and sequencing
- Strong conversation/presentational skills for a customer-facing role
- Desirable: qualifications in building construction and relevant health and safety certifications
