Overview

You will drive operational excellence and organizational health at Amazon sites by partnering with field leaders and site leadership. This senior role blends strategic insight with hands-on execution to shape employee experience, engagement, and safe, inclusive workplaces. You’ll use data and technology to identify risks, influence senior stakeholders, and implement HR processes that support business goals. A strong on-site presence and cross-functional collaboration are key to translating strategy into local practice and culture, across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance employee experience and engagement via Voice of the Associate programs, roundtables, and GEMBA walks, delivering timely resolutions and strengthening leader relationships.
  • Design and execute engagement and recognition programs to boost employee satisfaction and foster an inclusive environment with ERGs and equitable talent practices.
  • Maintain site presence, build rapport across levels, and identify concerns before escalation.
  • Assess workplace conditions through site walks and maintain facility standards in line with Amazon expectations.
  • Partner with safety teams to ensure consistent safety standards and programs; lead strategic community initiatives with Public Policy and Public Relations.
  • Drive proactive risk identification and mitigation using data insights and high-judgment decisions balancing policy and business needs.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure PXT process rigor and compliance; coordinate with shared services for seamless service delivery.
  • Lead analytics and AI-enabled initiatives to uncover patterns, predict risks, and drive data-informed decisions; champion HR technology adoption with high-touch support for sensitive matters.
  • Coach leaders on people management, support change management, set culture transformation goals, and strengthen leadership effectiveness.

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Experience in an HR leadership role with broad HR knowledge, including technology environments
  • Experience analyzing data to support business decisions
  • Experience supporting or leading onboarding, benefits, investigations, training, or talent management
