Associate Transport Planner

Responsibilities

• Support the technical delivery of transportation projects
• Produce Transport Assessments and Travel Plans
• Undertake transport studies and related technical analysis
• Assist with junction modelling and analysis work
• Liaise with clients, design teams, local authorities and stakeholders
• Mentor and support junior team members

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in transportation, geography, engineering or related discipline
• Strong understanding of the UK planning system
• Experience preparing Transport Assessments and Travel Plans, with junction modelling/analysis skills and use of relevant software
• Strong numerical ability, with experience managing project budgets and quality
• Working towards or keen to achieve a professional qualification such as TPP
• Proven track record in project delivery, client management and stakeholder engagement
