Responsibilities

• Oversee cost planning, budgeting, forecasting and value management to ensure profitability
• Lead procurement processes, tender evaluations and subcontractor negotiations; administer contracts, variations, and payment applications
• Monitor project costs against budgets, manage change orders, and provide financial reporting to senior management and clients
• Coordinate with clients, project managers and design teams to ensure cost transparency and strong commercial communication
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior surveyors and the commercial team

Key requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in a similar role for a main contractor
• 6+ years’ experience in commercial fit-out or similar projects
• Relevant degree level quantity surveying qualifications
