Associate/Sr Associate – Professional Negligence – Bristol

Overview

In this role you will handle complex professional negligence disputes from start to finish within a high-performing Bristol team. You will mentor junior lawyers, deliver commercially aware advice aligned with client and insurer objectives, and contribute to continuous improvement and strategic initiatives. The position offers exposure to multi-track claims, strong client care, and a path for progression within a dynamic legal practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of complex professional negligence matters from inception to resolution
• Supervise and develop junior colleagues to enhance team capability
• Provide clear, commercially focused advice aligned to client and insurer objectives
• Drive continuous improvement, support change initiatives, and enhance team performance
• Deliver accurate, timely, and empathetic guidance across varied caseloads including multi-track claims
• Collaborate with senior leadership to meet performance and financial targets and ensure efficient case management
• Influence team culture and contribute to strategic initiatives
