Overview
In this role, you will join a national Drinks, Hospitality & Leisure practice within a top law firm, focusing on real estate work for operators in the hospitality sector. You will advise on acquisitions, disposals, development and estate management, and collaborate across national teams to deliver commercially grounded guidance. The role offers exposure to high-profile operator clients and opportunities to shape regional and national real estate strategy. You will help grow client relationships and contribute to BD in a fast-moving, sector-focused environment.

Responsibilities
- Advising on freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals for hospitality operators
- Managing development and pre-let arrangements, portfolio re-gears, and estate optimisation projects
- Handling day-to-day estate management matters (L&T, licences, variations, easements, ancillary agreements)
- Collaborating on operator-specific issues (TUPE, TOGC, capital allowances, licensing/regulatory)
- Working with national DHL group to deliver rapid, commercially grounded advice
- Building client relationships and contributing to business development activities
Key requirements
- 4+ PQE in commercial real estate
- Strong grounding in acquisitions, disposals, development, estate management
- Experience advising operator clients is preferred
- Excellent communication and collaborative working across teams
- Proactive, self-motivated with client relationship development
- Team player who works at pace and provides pragmatic, solution-focused advice
