Insurance Lawyer – Property Damage

Overview

You will support a national insurance practice in the Property Damage team, focusing on property-related indemnity advice for insurer clients. You work alongside lead lawyers on claims management, coverage disputes, policy wordings, and negotiations with insurers. The role involves handling complex contentious insurance matters and contributing to recoveries across a prestigious client base. Responsibilities

• Assist lead lawyers on claims management, coverage disputes, policy wordings, and presentations
• Support negotiations with insurers and related recoveries
• Provide property-related indemnity advice to insurer clients
• Contribute to coverage work across classes of business
• Advise clients on claims handling and process improvements

Key requirements

• 2+ years’ PQE in complex contentious insurance matters with a focus on property-related advice
• Qualified solicitor or FILEX
• Strong academic record
• Experience in a reputable competitor law firm
• Clear ability to work in a specialized insurance team
