Senior Electrical Engineer

Overview

In this full-time role in Central London, you lead electrical design across multiple sectors and report to the Electrical Section Manager. You drive project coordination, design calculations, and lighting design while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You also mentor junior staff, uphold QA processes, and contribute to marketing and work-winning activities. This position offers a chance to influence electrical building services across commercial, residential, hotels, retail, and data centre projects.

Responsibilities

• Project Co-ordination
• Lighting Designs utilising Dialux Software
• Producing Electrical design calculations using Amtech Software
• Take an active role in project meetings
• Liaising with both internal and external design teams
• Supervision of Junior staff
• Compliance with company QA system
• Take an active role in marketing and work winning activities where appropriate

Key requirements

• 7-10 years engineering experience in Electrical Building Services
• A recognised electrical engineering qualification
• Strong communication with staff at all levels and clients
• High level verbal and interpersonal skills
• Ability to exercise initiative and work independently
• Well developed problem solving and technical competence
