University of Birmingham offers a fully funded EPSRC studentship to work on the design, microfabrication and testing of an actuator that can move drug-containing mucus across intestinal tissue. The project combines mechanical engineering, microfabrication, rheology and ex vivo tissue methods within a collaborative environment across engineering and life sciences.
