Overview
As a Life Sciences Manager at EY, you will help shape strategy for pharmaceutical, biotech and medtech clients across the commercial value chain. You’ll work within the Life Sciences team to deliver high-impact engagements and build trusted client relationships, driving growth through new opportunities and thought leadership. You’ll combine commercial strategy with rigorous analysis to address affordability, access, and patient pathways in a global context. Responsibilities
- Manage multiple client engagements and project teams, delivering high-quality insights and solving key challenges in the commercial value chain for pharma/biotech/medtech
- Partner with clients on franchise/portfolio/disease strategy, asset positioning, product launches, medical affairs alignment, and market access strategies
- Ensure alignment on project scope, deliverables, and timelines while delivering innovative solutions
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships and identify opportunities for new business within projects and EY’s network
- Support resource allocation, supervise and mentor junior team members, and contribute to performance development and talent initiatives
- Contribute to internal initiatives to advance EY’s leadership in Life Sciences and participate in thought leadership through writing and speaking engagements
Key requirements
- Experience in a traditional management consulting environment and/or Global Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Med Tech organization; mix of consulting and industry preferred
- Track record delivering projects in Commercial Strategy; Pricing, Reimbursement and Market Access; Digital Therapeutics; Real World Evidence; Innovative Contracting; NPD & BD&L
- Client-facing experience including leading workshops and delivering strategic recommendations
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and across regions/countries
- Thought leadership through writing or speaking engagements
- MBA or Advanced Degree in Health Economics/Policy/Pharmaceutical Sciences preferred but not mandatory
- Fluent English; willingness to travel and work overseas
