Responsibilities

  • Lead technical delivery of water, wastewater and flood projects with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Manage key work packages from concept to handover interfacing with clients and suppliers
  • Collaborate with clients and partners to secure buy-in for solutions and expand technical capabilities
  • Perform line management tasks and mentor junior team members
  • Contribute to the design lifecycle from feasibility to detailed design and delivery

Key requirements

  • Experience delivering water and wastewater engineering projects with multi-disciplinary scope
  • Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary design teams
  • Background with water company, consultancy or contractor in a similar role
  • Hands-on design experience for complex wastewater treatment solutions
  • Degree or equivalent in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical engineering; Chartered or Incorporated status or working towards it
  • Experience in feasibility studies, options appraisal and design for water clients and design-build projects
