Agile Business Analyst Digital Business Analyst Consultant

Overview

In this role you bridge business needs with technology to deliver AI-enabled, user-centred digital solutions. You’ll work within a cross-functional Agile team to understand user needs, translate requirements into stories, and support end-to-end product delivery. You help clients realise tangible value through data-driven decisions while navigating ethics and governance around AI. This opportunity combines consulting with hands-on product design and delivery across industries.

Responsibilities

• Help clients explore how to apply digital and AI-enabled technologies
• Design and deliver value-driving products and services
• Contribute to end-to-end user-centred design across design, product, development and testing
• Work in Agile Scrum teams to translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams for successful product delivery
• Build strong stakeholder relationships using analytical thinking and communication
• Support data-driven, innovative digital solutions delivery

Key requirements

• Experience in user-centred product or service development
• Experience in multidisciplinary Agile Scrum teams from research to testing
• Experience with digital service standards and frameworks
• Ability to translate user needs and business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Bridging between business requirements and user needs, and between traditional and Agile approaches
• Proficiency with requirements capture and backlog management tools such as JIRA
• Technical business analysis familiarity with microservices, APIs and cloud
• Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills
• Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and team activities
• Excellent analytical thinking, communication and problem-solving skills
