Overview
As an Air Conditioning/Chiller Engineer for JLL’s Integral Cooling Technology Division, you will support operational cooling services for the South West and Midlands. You’ll perform maintenance and service on VRF, splits, and CRAC units, and manage reactive repairs within standard hours and on-call shifts. You’ll work to ensure high-quality task execution and contract-aligned standards, whether solo or within a team. This role offers hands-on impact in maintaining critical cooling infrastructure across client sites.

Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance and service visits on VRF systems, splits, CRAC units, and related controls
- Provide reactive breakdown support during normal hours
- Participate in out-of-hours work and standby rota
- Adhere to internal and client support processes to meet objectives
- Ensure tasks are performed to professional standards and contract requirements
- Maintain quality control for each engineering task against agreed standards
Key requirements
- 2079 Refrigerant handling certificate
- Recognised Refrigeration & air conditioning training or equivalent experience
- Experience with maintenance/service on VRF systems and mid-to-large tonnage chillers
- Knowledge of CRAC units, air conditioning splits, cassettes, and VRV/VRF from major manufacturers
- Understanding of scroll and screw compressors; familiarity with large central plant chillers advantageous
