Responsibilities

  • Serve as technical advisor for your area of expertise within project teams
  • Provide specialized input to studies and design; develop procedures to ensure high-quality work
  • Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables
  • Apply discipline knowledge through all stages of contract document development
  • Conduct quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings
  • Prepare technical specification sections
  • Contribute to engineering budget and project scheduling
  • Mentor junior and intermediate engineering staff
  • Assist management with prioritizing workload for CADD and Revit production
  • Coordinate with other discipline leads to meet client objectives in a value-added way

Key requirements

  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Six+ years of relevant electrical design experience for buildings/facilities/infrastructure
  • Engineering designation (P.Eng)
  • Ability to obtain/maintain Reliability and/or Secret security clearances
  • Eligible to work in Canada (residency requirements)
  • Strong verbal communication
