Senior Electrical Engineer

Overview

In this role you will drive electrical design across a varied project portfolio within a large, reputable consultancy. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to deliver innovative, coordinated solutions that meet client needs and regulatory standards. You’ll operate across all design stages, perform site surveys, and help develop junior engineers, contributing to a culture of technical excellence. This position offers exposure to Healthcare, Higher Education, Science & Research, Transport and Commercial sectors with clear progression toward Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver coordinated electrical design solutions for a variety of projects
• Undertake site surveys and investigations to translate designs into built outcomes
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams across all design stages
• Mentor and develop junior engineers
• Contribute to project delivery in Healthcare, Higher Education, Science & Research, Transport and Commercial sectors

Key requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in Building Services
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
• Understanding of Building Services engineering and interdisciplinary design through all design stages
• Working towards or achieving Chartered Engineer status
