Responsibilities
- Negotiate construction contracts and amendments (including JCT)
- Draft and advise on professional appointments and warranties
- Advise on development agreements and construction-related due diligence
- Manage construction risk and navigate regulatory changes
- Support real estate transactions with construction due diligence
- Collaborate with cross-functional experts to deliver lifecycle advice on projects
- Contribute to ESG and sustainability objectives in projects
- Provide clear, pragmatic client advice and maintain high-quality workload management
Key requirements
- Around 1-2 years’ PQE in a leading firm
- Solid non-contentious construction experience in development projects
- Strong drafting skills and clear client communication
- Ability to manage a varied, high-quality workload independently
